North West Irish Draught & Hunter Show Schedule correction and clarification
If you have a pure bred ID mare with a sport horse foal at foot: The mare can compete in Class 10 (ID Brood Mare). The sport horse foal can compete in Class 5
If you have a brood mare that is not a registered ID Sport Horse but does have an ID sport horse foal at foot (with minimum 25% ID breeding): The mare is not eligible for Class 4, but the foal could go in Class 5 (as long as it is eligible for the ID Sport Horse Register i.e. with minimum 25% ID breeding).
CLARIFICATION FOR CLASS 10:
IF YOU HAVE AN IN FOAL MARE, WITH NO FOAL AT FOOT, YOU CAN STILL ENTER THIS CLASS.
Rule change for 2018
Our Rosettes have arrived!!!
The owners of all Pure-bred Irish Draught horses in both In-hand and Ridden classes must be full members of the IDHS (GB).
This rule does not apply to owners of Irish Draught Sport horses.
Royal Lancashire Show 2018
The 2018 Royal Lancashire show will be holding Irish Draught classes on 22nd July 2018. If you are travelling down from the North, why not make a weekend of it?
